I spoke at a few No Kings rallies this past weekend—two of the more than 2,100 protests all over the country on June 14. Absolutely loved the energy, the vibe, the passion, the righteous anger, the sense of community, and the deep concern for our democracy that I experienced at each rally I attended. I saw Americans come out in unprecedented numbers to resist Trump and Trumpism. But…I didn’t see a lot of young people. Relatively speaking, there were noticeably few folks around the ages of 18-35.
